Jaelyn and Hai: Aqua Vivus Productions

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011

Aqua Vivus Productions provided this amazing video of Jaleyn and Hai on their wedding day.  This video is thoughtful, detailed, and beautifully edited.  It really captured the love that filled the day, and the bond that Jaelyn and Hai share with one another. Jaelyn and Hai are sweet and sincere. When you bring these two together their love is inspiring– it’s endearing. I enjoyed every detail of their special day– from the “sew in love” sewing kit to the hand-made button boutonnieres.  It was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding, and to be able to witness the love from their family & friends.

A special “thank you” to Tom with Aqua Vivus Productions for sharing this video.

Evonne and Rick, part five

Monday, November 29th, 2010

Evonne and Rick held a traditional Laotian wedding ceremony, in addition to their ceremony at the Scripps Seaside Forum.  This intimate setting meant so much to their families and friends.  It represented the joining of two families– both from different cultural backgrounds, but all connected from a couple’s love.

There are so many special details that went into this wedding.  From the shoes, to the venue, to the delicate hair piece… it all had such thought and care.  This wedding represented a day of love, and it did it in STYLE!

Here is a glimpse at the radiant bride and handsome groom… oh and the people that love them– their wedding party!

These are just a few of my favorites… there were so many gorgeous shots!! Chaz Cruz Photography did an amazing job, and captured every moment of this gorgeous day.

LaTonda and Omar, part two

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

LaTonda and Omar had a large wedding party, what does that mean? Lots of character and lots of love!

I just want to make a side note about this couple and their families… in their toasts/speeches to their guests both LaTonda and Omar AND their parents said thank you to their vendors (they even said my name and pointed me out). WOW! This just shows how loving and appreciative people can be. It really made my heart melt. I wish you the best in your lifelong marriage together.

Evonne and Rick definitely let their guests indulge.  Lots of sweets to be found, perfect for the kids (and even the adults).

Special thanks to Chaz Cruz Photography for these wonderful images.

Jen and Owen, part one

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

Jen and Owen were married at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla.  It was a perfect day at the beach. The guests enjoyed the sunshine, and Jen brought “awww” to their lips when she revealed/recited her love poem as her wedding vows.  This was honestly one of the best things I have seen at a ceremony.  Jen put so much thought and time into this gesture– having each bridesmaid read a few lines, perfectly rhymed. It was beautiful, witty, and silly (all at the same time). Anyways… Here are a few details that were captured throughout the day.  Thank you to Claudia from Sun Dance Photography.  Details, details… my favorite part!

Special thanks for the following vendors, you rock! Museum of Contemporary Art, The French Gourmet, Whimsey Florals, Sun Dance Photography, and In Tune Entertainment

Mahalia and Channing, part one

Friday, June 11th, 2010

Mahalia and Channing had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Centennial Park in Coronado.  Perfect views of downtown San Diego, gorgeous weather, and an energetic wedding party.  Ashlynn Marie Photography was sweet enough to provide a few photos from the day. Aren’t the flower girls adorable?!?!? Congratulations to Mahalia and Channing (and their precious daughter/aka flower girl).
